Volunteers Needed

Volunteers form the backbone and heart of any swimming club and as such we are looking to seek the help and support of some willing parents.

What sort of help is required?
Competitions

When attending competitions, especially the County Championships, clubs attending are expected to provide some form of help. Being forthcoming with help enables us to be invited to more competitions and events.

Timekeeping

As the club grows, so will the opportunities for its swimmers. Soon we hope to start hosting our own competitions and we will only be in a position to do this with the help of parent volunteers.

Why should I get involved?

Volunteering is hugely rewarding! It is a great way to develop yourself and others, to meet people and to get involved in and give back to your local swimming community.

By volunteering you are helping swimmers achieve their goals by opening up opportunities for them to swim more.

Roles

Typical roles for volunteers include:

Poolside Team Manager for Competitions

Timekeepers

Volunteers for Counties - (Supervisory roles TBC)
