How many sessions a week will my child be asked to swim?

The fees for Bronze Squad allow for one hour session per week. However, it is expected that any swimmer enrolled into the Bronze Squad is also attending regular swimming lessons outside of the Academy. This could be either at school or by attending a learn to swim programme.

What is the age of swimmers at this level?

Typically, swimmers are aged between 7 and 9 years old.

What does my child have to do to move to Silver Squad?

Moving to the Silver Squad level is ultimately up to the coach’s discretion. However, a swimmer must:

Regularly attend sessions

Demonstrate an eagerness to learn by listening to the coach’s instructions

Perform strokes efficiently

Regularly attempt basic competitive turns

Follow basic instructions from a drill board
